Blogs

Give your business personality with a well-written blog that informs, entertains and engages your customers.

A blog can keep your customer coming back to your website, giving you that opportunity to turn a lead into revenue. It can also establish you as a thought leader in your industry and help improve your search-engine results.

A Content Marketing Institute survey revealed that 70 per cent of respondents say content marketing — the art of combining your website content, blog content and social media sharing — makes them feel closer to your company.

TESTIMONIAL

Give Angela a broad category of content that you would like created and off she goes, finds relevant topics and writes engaging copy that is timely and link-worthy.

As one of the earliest of early adopters to Twitter, Angela fully understands why individuals are active on twitter and why businesses should be.

CURRENT

Janice Otremba is a ballsy, tell-it-to-your-face life coach. She has an honest, non-fluffy approach about stress management and goal-setting that’s easy to get on board with. We chat once a week in an informal interview and I turn her brain dump into gold on her blog. She also lets me manage her social media platforms where we share tips and information on stress management, relaxation, leadership and other ballsy women.

PAST

Conference calling and web conferencing service provider

OnConference.com, a conference calling and web conferencing service provider, focuses its blog content on telecommuting and how its technology helps remote workers engage with their teammates.

Calgary accounting services firm

A1 Accounting, a small accounting and bookkeeping agency in Calgary, needed blog content on personal taxes and small business/startup tax solutions. I operated this blog from January 2013 to February 2014.

Writing blog content for Costume Canada, the official blog for CostumeChik, is some of the most fun I’ve ever had. I’ve managed this blog on two separate occasions, June to October 2012 and August to November 2013. When Margot calls, I always answer. Margot has since rebranded her businesses and eliminated the blog portion of her web presence.

As a longtime tenant, blog content about renting and looking for rentals came quite easily. RentClick.ca commissioned me for three months of blog content in early 2013 and three months of press releases. I also provided counsel for landlords on how to deal with terrible tenants (not me!).
